About the position

The Sales Compensation Analyst II at Cox Communications is responsible for providing operational, analytical, and support services related to variable pay and compensation for the Cox Residential Sales Team. This role involves reporting, quota setting, compensation plan design, effectiveness analysis, and data management, all aimed at enhancing the sales compensation process. The analyst will work collaboratively within a team environment and under supervision to ensure effective compensation strategies are implemented and communicated.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research pertaining to sales plan performance, behavior, and effectiveness.
  • Presents and documents periodic compensation plan analysis, making recommendations based on commission plan performance.
  • Creates and delivers leader-level reporting packages for all aspects of compensation with insights into business drivers.
  • Presents results and findings with recommendations to leaders.
  • Manages change processes through documentation of program plans, policies, and guidelines.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams on ad hoc compensation-related projects and initiatives.
  • Secures buy-in from a diverse audience.
  • Participates in the delivery of training information and/or tutorials.
  • Promotes awareness of the Commission System and current trends in effective compensation/performance management.
  • Works with the Commission System Team to develop and administer related tools, training, and strategies.
  • Assists in the implementation of local and corporate compensation strategies/initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience, or a master's degree with up to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Ability to interpret business objectives and incorporate them into Commission System terms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or Finance.
