About the position

The Sales Compensation Analyst at Mobile Communications America (MCA) plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely sales commission payments and resolving commission-related inquiries. This position supports the Central division and collaborates with various departments to enhance compensation processes and support sales leadership in establishing quotas and territories. The role is remote, specifically for candidates in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia, and emphasizes teamwork, service, and growth within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely and accurate sales commission payments and monthly statement releases for all MCA sales divisions.
  • Timely and accurate resolution of commission questions/disputes.
  • Partnering with Payroll to prepare and meet monthly commission deadlines.
  • Proactively identifying and communicating compensation outages and exceptions with sales leadership, Finance, and HR.
  • Onboarding any new sales employee including plan review, system overview, and working with sales leadership to establish sales quota/territory.
  • Working directly with sales leadership to establish annual sales quotas.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation or desktop procedures for all commission processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for improved processes and controls.
  • Assisting with annual plan design and implementation and supporting key projects.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of Incentive Compensation, Finance or HR experience.
  • Understanding of commission administrative process flow including source system transaction crediting and reconciliation; incentive calculations; payment file preparation.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and communicate sales compensation plans to all commission-eligible employees.
  • Ability to communicate well, both verbal and written, and solve complex problems.
  • Strong in analyzing complex data sets and making recommendations.
  • Experience with sales compensation software or plan design a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Self-starter, organized with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, Sales, and HR.
  • Strong Excel skills.
