The Compensation Analyst at QTS is a pivotal role within the People Services Operations team, primarily focused on managing compensation and sales commission functions. This position is responsible for supporting the administration of commission payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and addressing various inquiries from the Sales team regarding commission calculations. The analyst will serve as the system administrator for the Xactly Incent commission system, which includes tasks such as monthly recurring file creation, order processing, and payroll file preparation. In addition to these responsibilities, the Compensation Analyst will collaborate closely with the Accounting and Payroll teams to communicate and process monthly commission payments accurately. The role requires a strong partnership with Sales Operations, Sales Leaders, and Business Partners to understand new hire offers, including assigned commission plans, recoverable draws, quotas, and commission rates. The analyst will also maintain an Excel model that tracks the Sales organization structure, quotas, commission rates, and the overall cost of the commission plan. The position involves tracking, researching, and resolving compensation-related queries, supporting the VP of People Services operations in administering existing compensation plans, and participating in salary surveys to analyze data for competitiveness. Furthermore, the analyst will evaluate, analyze, summarize, and prepare reporting packages that present sales commission data to Executive leadership, while also maintaining the sales organizational hierarchy and making necessary changes in the commissions system as needed.
