About the position

DISH Network is seeking a highly skilled Sales Compensation Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sales compensation plans that are crucial for driving business growth and revenue. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with various cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure that the compensation plans align with the overall business objectives. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining sales compensation models, which include quota plans, bonus structures, and commission rates. In addition to designing compensation models, you will be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners across the organization. This will ensure effective communication and alignment on compensation strategies. You will also be responsible for processing sales commissions accurately and in a timely manner using various systems and tools. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you provide support to the Sales and Finance teams, helping to inform business decisions that drive revenue growth. Moreover, you will assist in the design and implementation of system enhancements and automation aimed at improving sales compensation processes. Managing sales group priorities, deadlines, and needs throughout the plan year will also be a critical part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all aspects of the sales compensation strategy are executed effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to develop and implement sales compensation plans that align with business objectives.
  • Design and maintain sales compensation models, including quota plans, bonus structures, and commission rates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners across the organization to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Process sales commissions accurately and timely using various systems and tools.
  • Provide analytical support to Sales and Finance teams to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of system enhancements and automation to improve sales compensation processes.
  • Manage sales group priorities, deadlines, and needs throughout the plan year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and/or processing sales commissions.
  • 5+ years of experience conducting analytical work.
  • 5+ years of experience using Excel to create tables, charts, formulas, and formatting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Excel functions, calculations, and formatting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources, Compensation, Payroll, and support of International employees.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a project team.
  • Experience in data integrity analytics, reporting, and system control practices.
  • Experience in project management with the ability to manage timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
