The Compensation Analyst at QTS plays a crucial role in supporting the People Services Operations, specifically focusing on compensation and sales commissions functions. This position is integral to the administration of commission payments, compensation reporting, and addressing various ad-hoc requests and inquiries that arise within the organization. The analyst will serve as the system administrator for the Xactly Incent commission system, which includes responsibilities such as creating monthly recurring files, processing orders, and preparing payroll files. This role requires a collaborative approach, as the analyst will work closely with the Sales team to address inquiries regarding commission calculations and ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly commission payments in conjunction with the Accounting and Payroll teams. In addition to these responsibilities, the Compensation Analyst will engage with Sales Operations, Sales Leaders, and Business Partners to understand the details of new hire offers, including assigned commission plans, recoverable draws, quotas, and commission rates. The analyst will also maintain an Excel model that tracks the Sales organization structure, quotas, commission rates, and the overall cost of the commission plan. This position involves tracking, researching, and resolving compensation-related queries, supporting the VP of People Services operations in administering existing compensation plans, and participating in salary surveys to analyze data for competitiveness. Furthermore, the analyst will evaluate, analyze, summarize, and prepare reporting packages that present sales commission data to Executive leadership, ensuring that the sales organizational hierarchy is accurately maintained and updated as necessary.
