The Compensation Analyst at QTS is a pivotal role within the People Services Operations team, primarily focused on managing compensation and sales commissions functions. This position is responsible for supporting the administration of commission payments, compensation reporting, and addressing various ad-hoc requests and inquiries from the sales team. The analyst will serve as the system administrator for the Xactly Incent commission system, which includes tasks such as creating monthly recurring files, processing orders, and preparing payroll files. In addition to these responsibilities, the Compensation Analyst will collaborate closely with the Accounting and Payroll teams to ensure that monthly commission payments are communicated and processed accurately and on time. The role also involves working with Sales Operations, Sales Leaders, and Business Partners to understand new hire offers, including assigned commission plans, recoverable draws, quotas, and commission rates. Maintaining an Excel model to track the sales organization structure, quotas, commission rates, and the overall cost of the commission plan is also a key responsibility. The analyst will be tasked with tracking, researching, and resolving compensation-related queries, supporting the VP of People Services operations in administering existing compensation plans, and participating in salary surveys to analyze data for competitiveness. Furthermore, the role requires evaluating, analyzing, summarizing, and preparing reporting packages that present sales commission data to Executive leadership. The Compensation Analyst will also maintain the sales organizational hierarchy and make necessary updates related to hires, terminations, or changes in compensation plans within the commissions system.
