The Sales Compensation Analyst at QTS is a pivotal role within the People Services Operations team, focusing on the administration of compensation and sales commissions. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely commission payments, managing the Xactly Incent commission system, and addressing inquiries from the Sales team regarding commission calculations. The analyst will collaborate closely with various departments, including Accounting, Payroll, and Sales Operations, to facilitate the smooth processing of commission payments and to maintain the integrity of compensation data. In addition to commission administration, the Sales Compensation Analyst will maintain an Excel model that tracks the Sales organization structure, quotas, commission rates, and the overall cost of the commission plan. This role also involves participating in salary surveys, analyzing data to assess competitiveness, and preparing comprehensive reporting packages summarizing sales commission data for presentation to Executive leadership. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining the sales organizational hierarchy and making necessary updates related to hires, terminations, or changes in compensation plans within the commissions system. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines. They will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and will be expected to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
