About the position

The Sales Compensation Design Analyst will support the Sales Compensation team in designing, implementing, measuring, and executing global sales commission plans that align with the company's sales strategy and objectives. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of incentive compensation programs and collaborating with global sales leadership to ensure effective execution and adaptation of compensation plans in response to market changes.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of globally consistent sales compensation plans, policies, and processes in alignment with sales objectives.
• Partner with global sales leaders to understand their business needs and translate them into incentive compensation action items.
• Work with management on strategic compensation initiatives, sales policy simplification, and improving internal processes.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, Total Rewards, People & Purpose, and other partners to address sales compensation related issues.
• Assess and provide insights into sales commission plan effectiveness through data analysis.
• Support successful onboarding of the global sales team through compensation plan creation and related activities.
• Manage and respond to inquiries and exception requests regarding commission plan design.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a sales compensation analyst.
• Working knowledge of sales compensation, plan design, sales operations, and sales cycles/processes.
• 2+ years of experience working with Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience in sales compensation design for a global company, preferably in a B2B software company.
• Experience with Salesforce.com and Incentive Compensation Management systems (e.g., Xactly).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to engage with sales executives and management.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and data presentation skills.
