About the position

The Sales Consultant at R S InfoCon, Inc. is responsible for driving sales of software products and consulting services by building and maintaining relationships with clients. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting new clients to conducting product demonstrations and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a solid background in sales, particularly in the IT sector, to effectively communicate the value of the company's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business with existing accounts and new accounts.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
  • Understand the needs and business requirements of assigned accounts.
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.
  • Submit quotes and recommend solutions to customer challenges.
  • Record account information in CRM database.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients/prospects and software vendors.
  • Generate useful insight about client/prospects needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the functional team to identify client needs and propose suitable IT solutions.
  • Educate customers on the value of RSI's business expertise and associated implementation expertise.
  • Present solutions recommendations and industry trends to clients/prospects.
  • Maintain broad market and competitor solution knowledge.
  • Sell the company's software products and consulting services.
  • Assist in the strategy and lead RSI's social media presence.
  • Reach out to potential clients via multiple channels.

Requirements

  • Experience working in sales.
  • Proficiency in conducting product demos and engaging with clients during pre-sales processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • A degree in marketing/business or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing and navigating CRMs.
  • Skilled in using and understanding Microsoft's Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) as well as Adobe Acrobat (PDF).
  • Customer service focused and charismatic personality.
  • Ability to gauge client needs.
