About the position

The Sales Contracts Ops Specialist at Cloudflare plays a vital role in managing the contract lifecycle for the sales team, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. This position supports the sales organization by overseeing the contract and order form process, driving operational excellence, and ensuring that sales deals are aligned with company policies and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Legal, Finance, Billing, and internal teams on deal structure to understand and achieve business priorities.
  • Understand order form policies and cross-functional team requirements.
  • Work to arrive at an offer with an expected outcome of reaching reasonably acceptable terms for both Cloudflare and customers.
  • Assist in oversight of the end-to-end contract management process, including drafting, term input, approvals, and execution.
  • Enforce the corporate approval framework and associated policies.
  • Provide guidance to the sales team regarding contract-related matters, policies, and processes.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and creative problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in contract management, sales operations, proposal teams, or order management.
  • Ability to work under time constraints while maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CPQ, and CLM system tools, and familiarity with Order Management applications (e.g., Oracle, Netsuite, Stripe).
  • Experience in Contract Operations or Deal Desk, preferably in the SaaS industry is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with key stakeholders.
