About the position

The Sales Coordinator at Fabick Cat is responsible for supporting the sales department by maintaining accurate equipment inventory, creating customer orders and invoices, collecting payments, and assisting Sales Representatives. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Answer customers' questions in person and via phone and email about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Direct the work of field technicians based on customer requirements.
• Create sales contracts, sales invoicing, and add new inventory to the system when needed.
• Track, estimate, and report accruals monthly.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure accuracy and timely payables are received.
• Contact customers to inform them of the status of payment and assist the Credit Department with collection of funds.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to offer products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Provide support for rental sales representatives with any needs that may arise.
• Calculate charges of merchandise and services provided and invoice these rental items and services timely.
• Prepare rental forms, obtaining customer signatures and other required information.
• Inspect and adjust rental items and explain rental fees, policies, and procedures to customers.
• Reserve items and keep rental records.
• Prepare customer invoices and ensure they are accurate prior to invoicing customers.
• Coordinate and/or perform activities associated with shipping, receiving, distribution, and transportation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or related business experience.
• 1-3 years business experience in sales.
• 1-3 years business experience in rental sales.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business software applications.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
