About the position

The Sales Coordinator at the Renaissance Raleigh Hotel plays a crucial role in connecting the front desk with the sales team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination for group reservations and events. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of service for guests and corporate clients, contributing to the hotel's overall success. Responsibilities

  • Be one of the first points of contact for incoming sales calls, responding quickly and professionally to all internal partners and external customers.
  • Deliver clear and concise communication representative of Concord Hospitality through various channels.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and proactive planning with a keen focus on detail.
  • Complete assigned tasks related to room blocks, reporting, client notifications, group resumes, event orders, billing details, and other administrative aspects of bookings.
  • Assist with pre-event, main event, and post-event details, tracking and communicating particulars of each assigned event and group.
  • Gain knowledge of the hotel's food and beverage products, pricing, presentation, and function space details related to group and event success.
  • Learn and utilize digital sales systems and sales processes, understanding the hotel's sales strategies and goals.
  • Participate in necessary internal meetings, conference calls, and training sessions required for the position.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration, making decisions that align with the hotel's goals.
  • Advocate for personal career development and training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in digital sales systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and event management.
