The Sales Counselor in Training position at Watermere at Frisco is designed for an enthusiastic individual eager to embark on a career in senior living sales. This role focuses on mastering sales operations, engaging with prospective residents and their families, and contributing to community outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a servant-minded approach, emphasizing compassion and effective communication while working closely with the Sales Counselor and Executive Director to achieve sales goals and enhance the living experience for residents.
Responsibilities
- Receive and make telephone calls, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments with prospective residents and families.
- Complete and record all traffic/guest card details for prospects, send thank-you notes, and ensure prompt follow-up.
- Conduct community tours with the Sales Counselor and Executive Director, showcasing the lifestyle offered.
- Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends, participate in market surveys, and provide insights.
- Contribute ideas during daily stand-up meetings to foster collaboration.
- Interact with residents and their families, addressing concerns and resolving business office matters.
- Work closely with the Sales Counselor to develop marketing plans and achieve sales goals.
- Communicate daily with the Sales Counselor and team members regarding prospective move-ins and coordinate the move-in process.
Requirements
- College degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency, with knowledge of Excel preferred but not required.
- Desire to grow and learn.
