About the position
The Sales Counselor at Everstory Partners plays a crucial role in providing compassionate support to families during their end-of-life planning. This position focuses on delivering a customer-centric experience, guiding clients through the selection of memorial services and products, and ensuring their unique needs are met. The Sales Counselor is responsible for maximizing revenue through effective sales strategies while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Guide individuals and families through end-of-life memorial planning using sales presentations and tools provided by Everstory.
- Provide options to meet the unique needs of clients, including touring the location and advising on burial and cremation options.
- Present all associated costs and advise on financing options, ensuring all financing is finalized prior to internment.
- Manage CRM and lead database, generating new leads through networking, online, and cold calling.
- Plan and conduct community outreach events to build relationships and generate new leads.
- Complete all required paperwork and authorizations to finalize sales and deliver services/products.
- Participate in sales meetings, communicating effectively with management and team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
- 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
- Experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
