About The Position

This position sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through a combination of walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting. Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks. Estimated first-year earnings range, including hourly wage and commission: $50,000 to $65,000. Uncapped commission and earnings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
