About the position

The Sales Data Analyst will perform comprehensive business analysis to provide valuable insights to the Business Planning team and sales leadership. This role focuses on identifying areas of opportunity and driving strategic initiatives through data analysis and reporting. The analyst will utilize machine learning techniques and various data analysis tools to enhance predictive analytics and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with sales leaders to understand their needs and provide insights that generate value for the organization.
• Generate and present reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations to guide decision-making.
• Evaluate and analyze sales processes, productivity, efficiency, and optimization opportunities.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing analytical support and insights to drive business growth.
• Conduct quantitative analysis including ROI, trending, identification and assessment of opportunities and risks, forecasting, regression analysis, correlation, and probability modeling.
• Participate in business financial reviews, contributing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze lines of business to determine profitability and establish a baseline for action.
• Create compelling PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate insights and recommendations.
• Utilize machine learning techniques to enhance predictive analytics and uncover hidden patterns in data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in similar roles.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills to provide statistics and metrics.
• Ability to forecast, analyze and turn data into useful insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Experience with CRM/ICM tools and SAP.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Python, R, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills including V-lookups, IF statements, macros, and pivot tables.
• Ability to manage/mine data from multiple sources to create necessary reports.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools.
• Experience with Automation tools (Power Automate, UiPath, or others).
