About the position

The Sales Development Manager - Inbound Sales at Bill.com is responsible for leading the Inbound Sales Development team, driving sales strategy, and executing initiatives to enhance the Growth Sales Funnel. This role involves managing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), optimizing lead generation processes, and collaborating closely with marketing to ensure effective demand generation and lead conversion. The position is based in Draper, Utah, and supports a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Inbound Sales Development team, focusing on hiring, training, coaching, and motivating BDRs.
  • Develop and implement a metrics-driven lead generation strategy in collaboration with the sales operations team.
  • Foster a close partnership with marketing teams to enhance collaboration between demand generation and lead conversion efforts.
  • Translate market and customer insights into actionable feedback for product development.
  • Manage BDRs through a structured lead generation process, focusing on data-driven KPIs such as time to contact and number of active leads.
  • Create coaching and development plans to increase productivity and the number of qualified meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven sales management experience with a track record of hiring, training, and motivating a BDR team for at least one year.
  • Experience leading a team of 8+ Sales Development/Business Development/Marketing Development Representatives.
  • Deep analytical skills with a focus on fostering a data-driven sales culture.
  • Comprehensive understanding of lead generation techniques and processes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, Drift, and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including communication, collaboration, and mentoring.

Nice-to-haves

  • SaaS software experience is a plus but not required.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delighting customers.
  • Strong product sensibility and experience collaborating with product teams.
