About the position

As a Sales Development Manager (SDM) at Google Cloud, you will play a crucial role in driving new business for Google Security products. This position involves prospecting new customers, building relationships, and qualifying leads, while also collaborating with the sales team to develop and execute effective business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new customers through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Qualify leads and develop relationships with potential customers.
  • Schedule appointments for the sales team through inbound and outbound prospecting channels.
  • Track progress towards business goals and report to management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute business strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Experience working both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with outbound prospecting tools (i.e., Salesloft)
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (i.e., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of Google Security products and services.
  • Ability to manage entire business process from prospecting through close.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, prospecting, and relationship building skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
