The Sales Development Manager for the Western Territory plays a crucial role in supporting and guiding the field sales organization to enhance the profitability of the Refrigeration division by maximizing sales volume across individual product lines. This position is pivotal in developing tactical plans by product category to achieve the sales goals outlined in the Annual Operating Plan. The primary focus of this role is on the Dealer Sales Channel, which encompasses end users, operators, and foodservice consultants/specifiers. In this capacity, the Sales Development Manager will collaborate closely with Foodservice Dealer Sales teams, including Regional Directors, Factory Direct sales team members, and Independent Rep Groups. The role requires interfacing with various departments such as manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing, and Refrigeration administration to strategically position product lines for increased sales volumes. The manager will provide day-to-day product support, conduct customer product presentations, and manage promotional opportunities for the field selling organization. Additionally, the Sales Development Manager will be responsible for developing product launch plans and sales training materials, conducting factory and showroom visits, and demonstrating product benefits and value to key customers. A critical aspect of this role involves articulating the value proposition and developing pricing strategies for key accounts, ensuring that the sales team is equipped with the necessary product knowledge and support to succeed in their efforts.
