About the position

The Sales Development Manager at ADS-TEC Energy is responsible for driving the sales cycles from beginning to end, focusing on the development of new business areas for battery-buffered ultra-fast chargers. This role involves establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business goals, and providing customized solutions to meet their needs. The position plays a crucial role in transforming the energy system towards renewable energy supply through innovative battery storage solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales cycles from beginning to end.
  • Develop new business areas for sales of battery-buffered ultra-fast chargers.
  • Bring in new clients through various techniques.
  • Conduct regular visits and meetings to provide high levels of customer service.
  • Prepare and conduct negotiations related to project objectives, milestones, pricing, and other commercial terms through to contract closeout.
  • Analyze clients' business goals and strategies to better understand customer needs.
  • Develop customized offers and solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain long-term and trusting relationships with customers.
  • Supervise all communication between key clients and other departments within the organization.
  • Report on the status of customer relationships, sales development, and other relevant key figures.
  • Review sales-relevant contract components and negotiate project contracts and framework agreements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales development or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of battery storage and e-mobility solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Experience in managing customer relationships and sales cycles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Familiarity with project management and contract negotiation.
