As a Supervisor for the Sales Development program at United Rentals, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and mentoring a team of Sales Associates. This remote position is designed for candidates located within the Pacific Time Zone to effectively support our West Team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the performance of your assigned Sales Associate team, ensuring they meet or exceed sales promotion and performance objectives. Through daily interactions, coaching, and training, you will foster a collaborative climate that encourages employee communication and satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving issues that arise within your team, escalating matters to the Sales Development Program Manager when necessary. You will partner with Human Resources to ensure compliance with company processes and policies, providing guidance and coaching to your team members as needed. Daily sales coaching and development will be a key focus, as you guide Sales Associates through their development plans to ensure their successful promotion to Outside Sales positions. Tracking the development progress of Sales Associates will be essential, as you will provide feedback to the Sales Development Program Manager and/or Program Director regarding the promotability of your team members. Additionally, you will ensure that all employees complete the required compliance training and assist in implementing, sustaining, researching, and developing quality process improvements utilizing SalesForce.com and other industry tools to promote best-in-class sales representatives.
