About the position

JTI Electrical and Instrumentation is looking for a full-time Sales Development Representative/Admin Assistant who is organized, energetic, and self-motivated. This role supports the VP of Sales and the sales team by managing administrative tasks, facilitating client interactions, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing positively to the sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor both in person and via verbal/written communication.
• Inputting data and managing accounts with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintaining filing system and customer contact database.
• Prospecting new clients via email correspondence, cold calling, social media platforms, etc.
• Supporting sales by providing leads and facilitating meetings with potential clients both in person and through virtual meetings.
• Connecting with customers to understand their needs and explain how our services can meet them.
• Utilizing various software programs to support daily tasks.
• Assisting in facilitating new hire orientation for the SE Region.
• Maintaining office supply inventory.
• Attending local and regional events/conferences which could fall outside normal working hours.

Requirements

• 2 years of office-related experience.
• 2 years of experience with a track record of exceeding lead targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and prioritize effectively.
