The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for managing and growing an assigned customer base. This role involves creating and implementing a sales strategy using strategic tools to achieve growth projections and foster the principle/resale relationship. The successful candidate will possess excellent relationship-building skills and a demonstrated ability to build trust at all levels within the customer organization. This position includes a base salary with a commission incentive plan, providing a strong opportunity for financial growth based on performance. In this role, you will develop new customer accounts and achieve annual sales based on agreed-upon sales goals. You will service existing customer accounts while also developing new ones. Close collaboration with sales managers is essential to create strategic and tactical plans that leverage all potential sales opportunities within the territory. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing business and technical relations with engineering, procurement, quality, and service personnel at all levels within the customer organization. Additionally, you will support the Customer Service team with outstanding issues related to order processing, delivery, or billing. Coordinating new and existing customer projects will be a key part of your responsibilities, working closely with customers and Curtis applications & customer support engineers. You will also investigate field failures associated with new product introductions and existing product failures, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective resolution. Documenting and distributing customer visit reports, creating monthly reports, and conducting basic business analysis will be part of your routine tasks. You will foster relationships with OE Principles and champion the product line while supporting sales efforts for the product category. This position requires significant travel, with 50% or more expected, both domestically and occasionally internationally.
