Coupa is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is pivotal in driving new business opportunity generation for our Enterprise Accounts, specifically targeting organizations with revenues under $1 billion across North America. The SDR will primarily focus on the initial stages of the sales cycle, engaging in outbound prospecting efforts through various channels including phone, email, and social media. This position is not a closing role; instead, it emphasizes the importance of generating leads and setting up qualified meetings that can lead to quality pipeline and revenue generation. In this hybrid role, the SDR will be required to work from the Chicago office 1-2 days a week, while also being present in the downtown Boston location for two days a week. The responsibilities include sourcing new leads for Enterprise Accounts with revenues exceeding $1 billion, following up on marketing-generated and inbound leads, and collaborating with the marketing team on demand generation campaigns. The SDR will also partner with field sales to implement effective sales and pipeline-building strategies, ensuring that monthly quotas are met and exceeded by setting highly qualified meetings. To succeed in this role, the SDR must gain a thorough understanding of Coupa's product line and value proposition, as well as the sales processes that drive our success. Participation in company-sponsored events and webinars will also be part of the role, providing opportunities to network and learn more about our offerings and market position.
