About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Herb, you will play a crucial role in our mission to create a global community of conscious cannabis consumers. Your primary responsibility will be to seek out qualified leads and assist in generating sales through various marketing strategies. This includes leveraging social media for prospecting, conducting outbound emailing campaigns, and making phone calls to potential customers. You will analyze the viability of leads to ensure that our Account Executives can concentrate on closing sales effectively. In this position, you will be expected to generate and assess sales leads, sharing qualified leads with our sales closers. You will also engage with prospective buyers, providing them with necessary information about our products and how they can meet their needs. Conducting market research and delivering sales presentations across different territories will also be part of your role. We are looking for someone who is not only motivated and results-driven but also possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and assess sales leads through social media marketing, emails, and phone calls

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or marketing-related field, or sufficient sales experience and proven skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel, Keynote, and Google Drive
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong customer service and time management skills
  • High motivation and a result-driven mentality
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Complete knowledge and familiarity with Herb's products
  • Familiarity with Herb and excitement about our vision
