About the position

TechnoMile is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Tysons, Virginia. The SDR team is a critical component of our growth strategy, responsible for educating and influencing prospects across the federal contracting landscape. This role involves working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to ensure we operate as a seamless organization with the goal of building a solid pipeline of potential deals. In this position, you will engage in lead generation by identifying and researching potential Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) customers through various research and sales tools such as ZoomInfo and Salesforce, as well as social media platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and industry events. Your prospecting efforts will include distributing emails and texts, conducting phone calls, engaging on social media, and participating in industry events to introduce TechnoMile or refamiliarize prospects with our portfolio of solutions. You will also be responsible for pipeline management, which entails maintaining an organized and up-to-date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with detailed notes on prospect interactions and status updates. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management teams to optimize talk tracks, share prospect feedback, and develop strategies for effective lead generation. Additionally, you will track and report on core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other critical metrics, including the number of exploratory and discovery meetings booked, conversion rates, and pipeline status.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential ICP customers through various sales tools and social media.

  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date CRM with detailed notes on prospect interactions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management to optimize strategies for lead generation.
  • Track and report on core KPIs and critical metrics.

Requirements

  • Previous experience using sales engagement software (e.g., Gong, SalesLoft).
