About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Trimble is designed to support the direct sales team in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction markets. The SDR will leverage their industry knowledge and sales skills to drive growth by identifying new sales opportunities and qualifying leads. This position is crucial for enhancing the sales pipeline and ensuring the team can pursue viable prospects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new and upsell opportunities by phone and email
  • Qualify potential opportunities and handle incoming bot requests to the website
  • Follow up on leads and requests in Salesforce

Requirements

  • Experience creating new sales opportunities
  • Strong time management skills and ability to deliver results under pressure
  • Result oriented and goal focused
  • Strong communication skills, particularly oral/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well both as part of a team, and on your own initiative
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM
