About the position

As a Sales Development Rep (SDR) with Point of Rental Software, you will play a crucial role in the sales process by qualifying inbound leads and prospecting for new opportunities. This position is designed for individuals who are driven and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with Account Executives, gaining valuable experience that will prepare you for a future role as an Account Executive, where you will have the opportunity to close deals and earn substantial compensation for your efforts. In the initial 3-6 months, your focus will be on learning Point of Rental's products and messaging, as well as mastering the tools necessary for success, including Salesforce, scripts, WebEx, and product information. Building relationships with your Inside, Field, and Sales Engineering counterparts will be essential, as will leveraging every opportunity to learn about the market and the business. Consistently meeting goals for initial presentation setups will be a key performance indicator during this period. As you progress from 6 months to 2 years, you will continue to enhance your selling skills and deepen your product and industry knowledge. Understanding what it takes to meet or exceed your goals will be critical, and you will maintain the momentum necessary to achieve success. You will also begin to expand your knowledge of Inside Sales duties and responsibilities, working with mentors to set personal goals that will position you for promotion within the company.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred (but not required).
  • Experience with sales, cold-calling, and/or customer service is a plus.
  • Tenacity, discipline, and a strong desire to succeed.
