About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Camping World, you will play a crucial role in our enterprise-wide sales initiative. We are seeking a motivated individual with a proven track record in sales and a strong desire to succeed in the RV industry. Your primary objective will be to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and building lasting relationships with our customers. This position requires you to take ownership of nurturing and cultivating relationships with prospects throughout their entire journey, from initial contact to post-sale support. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating a well-structured sales funnel through proactive prospecting, ensuring a steady flow of activity and opportunities for our sales team. You will employ various strategies to generate appointments and drive traffic by meeting departmental activity targets, utilizing outbound calls, online inquiries, and other lead-generation techniques. Effective communication with prospective customers is essential, as you will need to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide information about our RV products and services. You will be expected to make 8-10 outbound calls per hour with the primary goal of scheduling sales appointments. Utilizing the CRM system to record and manage customer information, appointments, calls, and sales interactions is crucial, as maintaining accurate and up-to-date data is essential for efficient follow-up and tracking. Staying informed about ongoing marketing campaigns and promotions will allow you to align your efforts with marketing initiatives, leveraging their impact on lead generation and sales conversion. Regularly tracking and analyzing your personal performance metrics, including appointments scheduled, calls made, sales achieved, and customer engagements, will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be receptive to coaching and work closely with the Sales Development Manager to improve departmental success. Ensuring complete customer satisfaction is vital, and you will help manage the online reputation through review sites and social media outlets. Collaboration with the sales team will ensure a seamless journey from initial contact to sale. Experience with VinSolutions is a significant plus!

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-driven and motivated for sales.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Prior CRM experience and computer savvy.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
