About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is focused on maximizing sales opportunities through effective communication and customer engagement. The SDR will be responsible for making outbound calls, managing customer information, and collaborating with the Business Development Manager to enhance departmental results. This position requires a strong emphasis on sales motivation, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales opportunities and traffic through the internet sales department.
  • Adhere to scripts and talking points for phone calls initiated or received.
  • Make outbound calls to 8-10 customers per hour to schedule sales appointments.
  • Record and manage prospective customer information through the CRM.
  • Maintain knowledge of current marketing campaigns.
  • Track personal results including appointments, calls, sales, and engagements using the CRM system.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager to increase departmental results.
  • Aid in managing online reputation through review sites and social media outlets.

Requirements

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-driven and motivated for sales.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective time management to reach goals.
  • Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Prior CRM experience and computer savvy.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
