About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in our enterprise-wide sales initiative, contributing significantly to our goal of driving sustainable financial growth. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record and a strong desire for success in the sales industry. Your primary responsibility will be to nurture and cultivate relationships with prospects throughout their entire journey, from the initial contact to post-sale support. This pivotal role involves creating a well-structured sales funnel through proactive prospecting, ensuring a steady flow of activity and opportunities for our sales team. In this position, you will employ various strategies to generate appointments and drive traffic by meeting departmental activity targets. This includes utilizing outbound calls, online inquiries, and other lead-generation techniques. You will effectively communicate with prospective customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide information about our RV products and services. Utilizing provided scripts and talking points, you will proactively make 8-10 outbound calls per hour with the primary objective of scheduling sales appointments. You will also utilize our CRM system to record and manage customer information, appointments, calls, and sales interactions, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date for efficient follow-up and tracking. Staying informed about ongoing marketing campaigns and promotions will be essential, as you will align your efforts with marketing initiatives to leverage their impact on lead generation and sales conversion. Regularly tracking and analyzing your personal performance metrics, including appointments scheduled, calls made, sales achieved, and customer engagements, will be part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to be receptive to coaching and work closely with the Sales Development Manager to improve departmental success. Additionally, ensuring complete customer satisfaction by proactively managing our online reputation through review sites and social media outlets will be part of your role. Collaboration with the sales team will be vital to ensure a seamless journey from initial contact to sale, and experience with VinSolutions is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales or related field.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-driven and motivated for sales.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Prior CRM experience and computer savvy.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
