About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Camping World, you will play a crucial role in our enterprise-wide sales initiative. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record and a strong desire for success in the sales industry. Your primary objective will be to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and building lasting relationships with our customers. This position requires you to take ownership of nurturing and cultivating relationships with prospects throughout their entire journey, from initial contact to post-sale support. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating a well-structured sales funnel through proactive prospecting, ensuring a steady flow of activity and opportunities for our sales team. You will employ various strategies to generate appointments and drive traffic by meeting departmental activity targets, utilizing outbound calls, online inquiries, and other lead-generation techniques. Effective communication with prospective customers is essential, as you will need to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide information about our RV products and services. You will proactively make 8-10 outbound calls per hour with the primary goal of scheduling sales appointments. Utilizing the CRM system to record and manage customer information, appointments, calls, and sales interactions will be a key part of your responsibilities. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data is essential for efficient follow-up and tracking. Additionally, you will stay informed about ongoing marketing campaigns and promotions, aligning your efforts with marketing initiatives to leverage their impact on lead generation and sales conversion. Regularly tracking and analyzing your personal performance metrics, including appointments scheduled, calls made, sales achieved, and customer engagements, will be necessary for your success. You will also be expected to be receptive to coaching and work closely with the Sales Development Manager to improve departmental success. Ensuring complete customer satisfaction by proactively managing online reputation through review sites and social media outlets will be part of your duties, as well as collaborating with the sales team to ensure a seamless journey from initial contact to sale. Experience with VinSolutions is a significant plus!

Requirements

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Prior CRM experience and computer savvy.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
