About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Camping World, you will play a crucial role in our enterprise-wide sales initiative. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record and a strong desire for success in the RV industry. Your primary objective will be to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and building lasting relationships with our customers. This position requires you to take ownership of nurturing and cultivating relationships with prospects throughout their entire journey, from initial contact to post-sale support. You will be responsible for creating a well-structured sales funnel through proactive prospecting, ensuring a steady flow of activity and opportunities for our sales team. In this role, you will employ various strategies to generate appointments and drive traffic by meeting departmental activity targets. This includes utilizing outbound calls, online inquiries, and other lead-generation techniques. Effective communication with prospective customers is essential, as you will need to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide information about our RV products and services. You will utilize provided scripts and talking points for both initiating and receiving phone calls, making 8-10 outbound calls per hour with the primary goal of scheduling sales appointments. You will also be responsible for utilizing the CRM system to record and manage customer information, appointments, calls, and sales interactions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data is crucial for efficient follow-up and tracking. Staying informed about ongoing marketing campaigns and promotions will allow you to align your efforts with marketing initiatives, leveraging their impact on lead generation and sales conversion. Regularly tracking and analyzing your personal performance metrics, including appointments scheduled, calls made, sales achieved, and customer engagements, will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be receptive to coaching and work closely with the Sales Development Manager to improve departmental success. Ensuring complete customer satisfaction is vital, and you will help manage the online reputation through review sites and social media outlets. Collaboration with the sales team will be necessary to ensure total department symbiosis and a seamless journey from initial contact to sale. Experience with VinSolutions is a significant plus!

Requirements

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-driven and motivated for sales.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong time management skills to effectively manage responsibilities and reach goals.
  • Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Prior CRM experience and computer savvy.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
