The Sales Development Rep-2 (SDR-2) at TEKsystems plays a crucial role in the initial steps of the sales process, focusing on building relationships and generating leads. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to kickstart their careers in B2B sales and offers a comprehensive training program that spans 10 weeks. During this training, SDRs will engage in online learning, participate in business role plays, and tackle real-time sales scenarios to prepare them for their responsibilities. After completing the training, SDRs will be tasked with researching and creating call sheets of targeted customers using tools like LinkedIn, as well as documenting and tracking leads from the Recruiter Lead Program. They will also build customer profiles and develop talk tracks for each customer using resources such as Seismic and Gong. In addition to outreach efforts, SDRs will collaborate with the Director of Business Operations to utilize the Inward Lens tool to identify lost customers, thereby generating new meetings. Success in this role can lead to a promotion to Account Manager, where responsibilities will expand to include developing and managing customer relationships, increasing sales and market share, and preparing effective sales proposals.
