As a Sales Development Representative 2 (SDR-2) at TEKsystems, you will play a crucial role in the initial steps of the sales process. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the sales field, particularly in the IT Talent Solutions and Services industry. After completing an extensive 10-week training program that combines online learning, business role plays, and real-time sales scenarios, you will be equipped with the necessary skills to effectively engage with potential customers. Your primary responsibilities will include researching and building targeted customer call sheets, documenting and tracking leads from the Recruiter Lead Program, and creating comprehensive customer profiles using tools like Seismic and Gong. You will also be responsible for performing outreach to your targeted customer list and documenting your weekly activities to ensure a systematic approach to sales.
