About the position

The Sales Development Representative at TEKsystems is responsible for executing all steps of the sales process, focusing on building customer relationships and increasing sales through both existing and new accounts. This role involves collaborating with the Delivery team to identify top IT talent to meet client needs and preparing effective sales proposals. The position offers growth potential within the organization, thorough sales training, and unlimited earning potential through a competitive salary and commission structure.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Delivery team in identifying top IT Talent to fulfill client needs
  • Increase sales and market share through assigned and newly generated accounts
  • Identify, develop and manage new and existing customer relationships
  • Leverage resources including Salesforce and Hoovers to support sales efforts
  • Contact and meet with prospective customers to establish needs and hiring cycles
  • Prepare and present sales information and effective proposals for customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree with 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of Sales Experience OR Degree in Sales OR Sales Internship Experience OR Active membership in a Collegiate Sales Club/ Organization
  • A strong desire for a career in B2B Sales
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills, and a high standard of professionalism
  • The ability to overcome obstacles and collaborate with others
  • A strong propensity to learn
