The Sales Development Representative-2 (SDR-2) at TEKsystems is a pivotal role designed to initiate and execute the early stages of the sales process. The SDR-2 will undergo an extensive 10-week training program that combines online learning, business role plays, and real-time sales scenarios, ensuring they are well-prepared to engage with potential customers effectively. In this role, the SDR-2 will be responsible for researching and creating call sheets of targeted customers, utilizing tools such as LinkedIn and resources that include candidates and current consultants. They will document, track, and research all leads generated from the Recruiter Lead Program, building comprehensive customer profiles based on the information gathered. The SDR-2 will also perform outreach to a targeted customer list, documenting their weekly activities to ensure a systematic approach to sales. Collaboration is key in this role, as the SDR-2 will partner with the Director of Business Operations to utilize the Inward Lens tool to identify lost customers, thereby generating new meetings and opportunities. Success in this position can lead to a promotion to Account Manager, where the individual will take on additional responsibilities such as developing and managing customer relationships, increasing sales and market share, and preparing effective sales proposals.
