The Sales Development Rep-2 (SDR-2) at TEKsystems plays a crucial role in the initial steps of the sales process, focusing on building relationships and generating leads. This position requires the successful completion of an extensive 10-week training program that combines online learning, business role plays, and real-time sales scenarios. After training, the SDR-2 will be responsible for researching and creating call sheets of targeted customers using tools like LinkedIn, as well as documenting and tracking leads from the Recruiter Lead Program. The SDR-2 will also build comprehensive customer profiles and develop talk tracks for each customer using resources such as Seismic and Gong. Outreach to targeted customers is a key responsibility, along with documenting weekly activities and collaborating with the Director of Business Operations to identify lost customers and generate new meetings. Success in the SDR-2 role can lead to a promotion to Account Manager, where the responsibilities expand to developing and managing customer relationships, increasing sales and market share, and preparing effective sales proposals. The Account Manager will also partner with the Delivery team to identify top IT talent to meet client needs.
