About the position

The Sales Development Representative 2 (SDR-2) at TEKsystems plays a crucial role in the initial steps of the sales process, focusing on building relationships and generating leads. After completing an extensive 10-week training program that combines online learning, business role plays, and real-time sales scenarios, the SDR-2 will be equipped with the necessary skills to effectively engage with potential customers. In this role, the SDR-2 will be responsible for researching and creating call sheets of targeted customers, utilizing tools such as LinkedIn and resources from the Recruiter Lead Program. They will document and track all incoming leads, build comprehensive customer profiles, and develop tailored outreach strategies. The SDR-2 will also collaborate with the Director of Business Operations to identify lost customers and strategize on generating new meetings. Success in this position can lead to a promotion to Account Manager, where the individual will take on additional responsibilities, including managing customer relationships, increasing sales and market share, and preparing effective sales proposals. Responsibilities

  • Research and build call sheets of targeted customers in the market using tools like LinkedIn.
  • Document, track, and research all leads coming in from the Recruiter Lead Program.
  • Build overall customer profiles and talk tracks for each customer using tools like Seismic and Gong.
  • Perform outreach to targeted customer lists and document weekly activity.
  • Partner with the Director of Business Operations to identify lost customers and generate new meetings.
