About the position

The Sales Development Representative 2 (SDR-2) at TEKsystems is a pivotal role designed to initiate and execute the early stages of the sales process. The SDR-2 will undergo an extensive 10-week training program that combines online learning, business role plays, and real-time sales scenarios to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. After training, the SDR-2 will be responsible for researching and building call sheets of targeted customers, utilizing tools such as LinkedIn and internal resources to identify potential leads. This role requires meticulous documentation and tracking of all leads generated from the Recruiter Lead Program, ensuring that all interactions are recorded accurately. In addition to lead generation, the SDR-2 will build comprehensive customer profiles based on gathered information and develop tailored talk tracks for each customer using tools like Seismic and Gong. The role involves performing outreach to a targeted customer list and documenting weekly activities to track progress and effectiveness. Collaboration with the Director of Business Operations is essential, particularly in utilizing the Inward Lens tool to identify lost customers and create strategies to re-engage them. Success in the SDR-2 role is a stepping stone to promotion as an Account Manager, where the individual will take on additional responsibilities such as developing and managing customer relationships, increasing sales and market share, and preparing effective sales proposals. Responsibilities

  • Research and build call sheets of targeted customers in the market using tools like LinkedIn.
