About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a Sales Development Rep-2 (SDR-2) to join our team. The SDR-2 will be responsible for executing initial steps in the sales process after completing an extensive 10-week hands-on training program. This training includes online learning, business role plays, and real-time sales scenarios. The SDR will research and build call sheets of targeted customers, document and track leads, and perform outreach to potential customers. Success in this role can lead to a promotion to Account Manager, where additional responsibilities will include developing customer relationships, increasing sales, and preparing sales proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Military experience OR Associate's Degree with 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Sales Experience OR Degree in Sales OR Sales Internship Experience OR Active membership in a Collegiate Sales Club/Organization.
  • Strong desire for a career in B2B Sales.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for negotiations.
  • Sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills, and high standard of professionalism.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and collaborate with others to achieve goals.
  • Strong propensity to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Research and build call sheets of targeted customers using tools like LinkedIn.
  • Document, track, and research all leads from the Recruiter Lead Program.
  • Build customer profiles and talk tracks using tools like Seismic and Gong.
  • Perform outreach to targeted customer lists and document weekly activity.
  • Partner with the Director of Business Operations to identify lost customers and generate new meetings.
