As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads and scheduling sales appointments for the transportation sales executive team. This will involve daily prospecting efforts via our CRM system, phone, LinkedIn, and emails to increase our customer base. You will utilize cold outreach and lead generation skills to manage a high volume of daily communications with potential clients. Working closely with your office sales manager, program manager, and team of sales representatives, you will observe a deal through the entire sales cycle. Collaboration with sales leadership and executives will be key as you adopt creative approaches to develop new business prospecting strategies. Your positive energy and personality will be essential in influencing others and enhancing the work environment. You will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the transportation industry by shadowing various internal departments. Demonstrating a passion for sales, including outside or inside sales opportunities, is crucial as you strive to achieve or exceed appointment and sales metrics.
