About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Optimum7 is a remote position focused on generating new outbound leads and setting appointments to drive sales growth. The role requires managing an individual sales pipeline and creating new sales opportunities, particularly in the digital marketing and software development sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly within eCommerce, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the established Sales Playbook and Sales Process to ensure consistency and effectiveness throughout the sales cycle.
  • Independently manage your sales pipeline, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals to meet or exceed targets.
  • Generate new outbound leads through a variety of channels, including email campaigns, social media outreach, and cold calling.
  • Identify potential clients, understand their needs and pain points, and create tailored sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to nurture leads and ensure all opportunities progress effectively through the sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in software development and/or digital marketing services sales.
  • Experience working as a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), Sales Expert and/or Account Executive in an eCommerce agency.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously, with attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Exceptional ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.
