About the position

As a Sales Development Representative at Oracle, you will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with consultative selling skills and knowledge of Oracle solutions. This role is integral to a collaborative sales team, where you will be expected to build a sales pipeline and qualify leads for the sales team. Continuous training and coaching will be provided throughout your career to ensure your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Build sales pipeline using cold calling methodologies and social selling.
  • Develop a strong foundation of industry competence, Oracle product knowledge, and sales methodology.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and/or expansion/upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on go-to-market strategy and demand generation activities.
  • Ensure all data is accurately maintained and updated in the Oracle CRM applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
  • 0-3 years of related work experience and/or applicable coursework, philanthropy, extra-curricular activities, etc.
  • Strong work ethic and competitive nature.
  • Demonstrated resilience and coachability.
  • Intellectually curious with strong persuasive skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
