About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Oracle plays a crucial role in driving sales success by generating high-quality leads and expanding the company's market share. This position involves engaging with potential clients through various outreach methods, conducting thorough research, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to execute strategic campaigns. The SDR is expected to develop a deep understanding of Oracle's products to effectively communicate their value to prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients through phone, email, and social outreach to generate and qualify leads for Oracle's Global Industry Unit.
  • Contribute to growing Oracle's industry market share by identifying and nurturing new revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to share best practices and support colleagues.
  • Conduct thorough account research and intelligence gathering to uncover prospective customer needs and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to strategize and execute outbound campaigns aligned with our industry go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the One Oracle stack and GIU solutions to become a trusted advisor to prospects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant experience in outbound sales/business development or industry domain.
  • Minimum of 2 years in sales or business development outbound prospecting.
  • Familiarity with industry domains is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in software and technology is a plus but not required.
