About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Breakthrough plays a crucial role in expanding the company's market presence and supporting business development initiatives. This position involves crafting and executing cold call and cold email campaigns to generate warm leads for the Business Development teams, while collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams to drive growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to identify and qualify potential leads.
  • Create and deploy targeted cold call and cold email campaigns to engage prospects.
  • Partner with the Business Development teams to ensure seamless transition of qualified leads.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and manage lead tracking systems efficiently.
  • Continuously analyze performance metrics to refine outreach strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate insights into outreach strategies.
  • Champion continuous improvement and quality control efforts to identify opportunities to innovate and improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
  • Continuously learn and develop self professionally.
  • Support corporate efforts for safety, government compliance, and all other company policies & procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales or related fields is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to craft engaging and persuasive messaging.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and/or other lead generation tools is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Resilient and adaptable to changing market conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach to challenges.
