About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Custom Truck One Source is responsible for qualifying inbound and outbound sales leads at the initial stages of the sales funnel. This role involves researching potential clients, connecting with prospects, and educating them before handing them off to the sales team. The SDR will engage in both cold outreach and follow-up on interested leads, ensuring a smooth transition to the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify both inbound and outbound sales leads.
  • Conduct 40-50 calls and/or emails per day.
  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads to identify qualified opportunities.
  • Educate and develop prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep.
  • Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts.
  • Cold call prospects generated by various outside sources.
  • Answer incoming customer calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Identify key players and research business requirements to present solutions.
  • Monitor account creation to avoid duplicates.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on strategic sales approaches.
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM.
