About the position

The Sales Development Representative at Atlas Copco Compressors LLC is responsible for developing relationships with new, existing, and lost customers through effective prospecting and lead generation. The role aims to increase market share by collaborating with service sales and business development teams to ensure customer success. The representative will engage with customers through various communication methods and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new customers and generate leads through virtual meetings, emails, and phone calls.
  • Engage with service sales teams to align on activities and generate qualified leads.
  • Investigate machine information and status using company tools.
  • Nurture customer relationships through follow-up communications and record details in CRM.
  • Update customer contact information and install base in CRM for accuracy.
  • Make initial contact with new customers to inform them about service options.
  • Follow up on leads to ensure customer satisfaction and proper updates in CRM.
  • Track success of leads and learn from outcomes to improve future efforts.
  • Develop skills in time management, customer relations, and effective communication through training.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant sales experience or technical role.
  • Associate's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and time effectively.
