Okta is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in Washington, DC. We are looking for dedicated, curious, and motivated individuals who are eager to advance their careers in sales. The SDR will be responsible for researching accounts and contacting prospects through phone and email outreach to set meetings that generate pipeline for our sales organization. This role requires the SDR to work out of the Washington DC office, and candidates may need to relocate within a specific timeframe agreed upon with the manager and recruiting team. Please note that Okta will not provide relocation assistance. In this position, the SDR will be assigned a territory of accounts and will strategize on how to set meetings within these accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They should be flexible with change, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and eager to learn and grow. The SDR will utilize sales engagement tools to research contacts and accounts, conduct discovery conversations with IT Executives, and generate qualified meetings for aligned Account Executives. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to consistently achieve quotas related to calls, emails, meetings, and pipeline generation.
