About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Rippling is a hybrid position based in Austin, Texas, focused on managing high-velocity top-of-funnel sales qualification. The SDR will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new customers, requiring a winning attitude, urgency, and a passion for sales. This position offers the opportunity to shape processes and build pipelines to support Account Executives, with a strong emphasis on internal promotion and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Become a product expert across the entire platform and understand the competitor landscape.
  • Manage inbound and outbound leads using specific qualifying criteria.
  • Outbound with strategic and thoughtful messaging to upmarket prospects.
  • Partner with marketing to manage outbound campaigns to increase lead volume.
  • Prospect into new accounts using proven sales methodology.
  • Maintain and update accurate records in CRM.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work cross-functionally among different teams at Rippling
  • Desire to join a competitive team-based environment
  • Sales experience preferred but not required.
